The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program offered by Dr. S.S. Tantia Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre commenced in June 2025. The college, located in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, is recognized as one of the leading private dental institutions in the region. It features a self-contained, four-storey building with a total built-up area of 154,000 sq. ft., providing an ideal environment for comprehensive dental education. Our mission is to nurture competent, ethical, and compassionate dental professionals who excel in clinical care and contribute meaningfully to society. Facilities include state-of-the-art pre-clinical dental laboratories, clinical treatment areas, lecture halls, seminar rooms, faculty and administrative offices, group discussion zones, and a well-stocked library. Each year, 100 students are admitted to the BDS course. The program spans five years, including a one-year compulsory rotating internship, and follows the curriculum prescribed by the Dental Council of India.
An integrated approach that combines extensive clinical training with in-depth academic coursework enhances students’ understanding of dentistry and its vital connection to overall health. The institution offers advanced facilities for Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery, in addition to comprehensive instruction across all major dental specialties—Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontics and Implantology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, and Community Dentistry.Students gain hands-on experience in maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation under the guidance of the Department of Prosthodontics. A strong emphasis is also placed on community-based dental outreach programs, ensuring students develop both clinical expertise and a deep sense of social responsibility.
